How-To Screencast

I just made a Screencast on the features and gadgets of Google, and I thought that it was pretty easy.the best part was that the recorder for the screen hid itself when you were recording so that you didn't have any distractions when you were recording.

Reflections

In the last 12 weeks, we have learned a lot in this online experience class and many of them I will use later in my life. Technology is important because the coming generation will be using almost everything with technology. Things will be made with technology, and technology will make technology better. Technology has become much more advanced in the past 5 years. With more and more designers getting jobs, the world has become filled with more technology. Everything around us has somehow been made with technology, whether it is direct or indirect. I think in the next 5 years, technology is going to take off and everyone will be using it directly. The kind of technology I use for school work is the Microsoft office tools such as word, publisher and PowerPoint. For personal use, I use media players, and I play games at home in some of my free time. I think that I will use the tools such as blogs, the RSS feed, and some avatars occasionally. I think that the tools that will be the most practical for lifelong learning is obviously the RSS feed. Instead of going out the 20 individual sites, the sites come to you, so that you know the news you want to and don’t have all the ads getting in your way. Honestly, I don’t think that I will ever use the podcasts again, because I kind of found them to be pointless. The only one that was somewhat helpful were the instructional ones that showed you how to do something. My favorite tools to create was probably the avatars, because you could make them look like you in any way you wanted, and you could make it any way you want it. My least favorite was the RSS feed, just because it took a while. In the end though, the RSS feed was definitely the most helpful because it brought the news to you. That is what I thought about the last 12 weeks in this class.

Audio Demo

I used Chirbit for my outside podcast, and I found it to be very easy. This website is an audio maker, and it just creates regular audio files, though it does not specify which type of file. I found this website extremely easy to use because of the plain fact that you could just type text in to make audio. I would recommend this to future classes, because it would be a very good starter for creating podcasts.

I could not get Myplick to upload my audio because the connection was not good enough.
